Tips for Generating Leads

Are you a service provider looking to connect with potential buyers? Follow these steps to generate more leads and drive sales with Cloudscene:

Step 1 . Sign up for a free cloudscene account
In order to bid on a listing, you first need to create a Cloudscene account. Click here to to set-up a free account with us.

Step 2. Browse and bid on public listings
To successfully bid on a listing, we recommend the following:

  • Responding to listings in a timely manner – We recommend that you provide your intention to bid within 2 business days and submit your completed bid 2-3 days before the listing is due to close.
  • Consider each requirement specification – Read the listing carefully and construct a response to each point the buyer outlines. Make sure you attach any documentation they request and respond to the budgetary price, lead times and T&C’s specified by the buyer when you respond.
  • Provide accurate and competitive pricing- Buyers are more likely to select a vendor that responds with a detailed and accurate quote for their services. If needed, service providers can supply an estimate quote (being transparent about the fact that it is an estimate) and then follow up at a later date with a more accurate quote.

Step 3. Respond to RFQ’s
Buyers can submit a Request for Quote (RFQ) to vendors that meet their specific requirements, here’s how to ensure your response is successful:

  • Respond in a clear, detailed manner – if you can fulfil a buyer’s requirements, simply complete all four fields of the RFQ form and ensure you’ve attached any requested documentation or information. Read more about this process here.
  • Delegate tasks to your team – If you have ‘Sales Management’ permissions on Cloudscene, you have the ability to assign opportunities to your team members to streamline how your business manages quotes and listing responses.
  • Track bid progress and performance – You can manage all of your sales opportunities in My Marketplace to keep track of your quotes and listings.
